WR Fundraising Recruitment has an exciting Individual Giving Fundraising Manager vacancy for an experienced fundraising and marketing / engagement professional to lead a small direct marketing and individual giving team and help the charity achieve its income targets from its supporters and individual donors.
At an exciting time of development, we are looking for a supporter engagement professional to manage the planning and delivery of the charity's individual giving campaigns and direct marketing communications with supporters, including postal appeals, newsletters, e-news and digital marketing.
Individual Giving Manager
Permanent, Full time
Tring, Hertfordshire
GBP32,000 per annum
Duties will include:
* Working with the Director of Fundraising, take overall responsibility for creating and managing a supporter development strategy and the supporter engagement journey
* Manage the development of a supporter engagement plan and its schedule to include the coordination of communication messages to all supporters
* Through the post of Direct Marketing Officer, deliver the direct marketing programme for all income streams
* Manage direct reports, carry out individual performance review process
* Create and manage all aspects of donor development & engagement programmes,
* Use various media to drive awareness, recruit new donors and facilitate data capture across all potential touch points
* Review and develop the individual giving and direct marketing programme across all income streams and media channels.
* Brief and manage third party suppliers such as creative agencies, mailing houses and printers to deliver engaging and effective campaigns and appeals.
* Devise the Fundraising Development & Engagement and Legacy strategy in conjunction with the Director of Fundraising.
* Drive the digital fundraising strategy
The ideal candidate will have:
* Relevant experience of developing and delivering creative and innovative methods of engaging new and existing donors/customers
* Successful track record of generating significant fundraising income both on and offline
* Experience of digital and off line campaigns, fundraising campaign analysis and testing methods
* Experience of managing a successful goal-orientated team
* Ability to produce high quality marketing materials using a range of media (well- developed creative writing skills)
* Knowledge of direct mail and other media to generate fundraising income
* Knowledge of donor/customer relationships development/sales
* Proven track record in digital marketing
* Experience of working with external suppliers including direct marketing agencies to deliver fundraising objectives
* Experience of using a relationship database, such as Raiser's Edge including Knowledge and experience of the principles of database, direct marketing and donor acquisition, retention / development
* Drivers licence and access to own vehicle essential
