Due to continue business, they are looking for Cheese Production Operatives at different levels across various shifts to join their expanding team to work to the highest level of safety, environmental and food safety standards.
- Level 1 - PM and Night Shifts available. Cheese packers, boxing, labelling & palletising packed cheese.
- Level 2 - AM and PM Shifts available. Skilled operatives capable of machine set up and running the cheese cutter, wrappers and compliance equipment across various technologies.

Production Operative Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities include:
- To work as part of a team and carry out manual, semi-automated tasks, operating machinery and materials handling equipment where necessary, as part of the production operation to meet quality, plan and cost targets.
- To deliver food safety standards every time everywhere including GMP
- To work to the documented cleaning procedures to meet the Environmental, Hygiene and Customer requirements
- To competently set up & operate machinery and/or your work area to the required standards
- To support the Senior Operative in order to manage a line team and to planned volumes
The ideal Production Operative:
To be successful for this position, you must have:
- Previous Manufacturing experience in a similar role (preferred).
- Food Hygiene NVQ Level 2 and NVQ Level 2 Health & Safety
- Experience in use of P.P.E.
- Manual and materials handling skills
- Good communication skills
- Numeracy and Literacy as appropriate for role
- IT skills as appropriate for role
- Problem solving skills
