The Eddystone Trust is an independent voluntary and community sector organisation working across the spectrum of HIV and sexual health. Our work includes support, prevention and health promotion to targeted groups.
We are seeking a number of roles in Plymouth, Devon and Torbay:
HIV Support Workers - working with those affected by HIV, from those newly diagnosed to those living with HIV as a long-term condition
Community sexual health prevention workers - enabling those people at risk of poor sexual health, through targeted prevention work, to make healthier choices about sex
Young People's targeted prevention worker - facilitate the delivery of the C-Card system in Plymouth and to provide support for young people, ensuring that they have access to a range of support services and other organisations that may be able to assist them. You will also deliver targeted prevention strategies to those at risk of poor sexual health, supporting, educating and signposting them appropriately.
You will have excellent communications skills as you will be delivering community outreach sessions at a range of venues as part of the role.
