Graduate Science Teachers

Start: January 2019

Science graduates who are looking to learn on the job about the teaching profession are wanted at Lordswood Boys School.

This is a fantastic opportunity to sample school life and to help determine whether teaching is a career you may be interested in pursuing. Graduates who are interested in fixed term contracts for 1 year are welcome.

Full support and training will be given by our Assistant Head teacher who will be managing the programme.

The role

In this role you will help us to run a full-time Intervention programme to support the Science department. Successful graduates will get to teach for up to fifteen hours and contribute more widely to the school at other times.

Essential skills & experience

• Degree level qualification in Science or a closely related subject
• Willingness to learn about the teaching profession
• Passion for working with young people
