Strategic Investment & Development Manager
£55380 (point 60)
East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual to effectively oversee our diverse capital programme of £100m per annum.
A key element of the role is to deliver our Corporate Priorities and secure value for money in our investment decisions by developing and implementing both the council’s Capital Investment Strategy and Housing Revenue Account Business Plan. The latter has an annual income of £45m.
You will lead a team and work with colleagues from across the council including those in highways, housing, education, flood risk management and corporate property. The workload is varied and dynamic, and alongside the management of the capital programme you will also be involved in feasibility, scheme development and planning future work programmes.
