Our Clients within the Public Sector require a temporary Clerical/Administration Officer to work within their busy administration team based in Orton on a full time basis of Monday-Friday
The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs is the government department responsible for environmental protection, food production and standards, agriculture, fisheries and rural communities in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Collating and analysing fairly complex information or data, submitting results in a written report
Overseeing administrative procedures and processes
Assisting with budget preparation and control, if required
Acting as a administrative liaison with internal and / or external sources
Preparing routine correspondence Typical qualifications and experience:
Five GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language or equivalent)
NVQ Business Administration Level 2 (or suitable clerical experience)
Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office
Good communication skills, both oral and written
The ideal candidate must have strong administration skills and be able to work independently and also within a team environment. Have good people skills and a professional telephone manner.
Minimum of 1 year administrating
£8 per hour starting salary with holidays and pension benefits.
