Our client, a long established leading independent finance specialist based in Northamptonshire, is currently seeking a Head of Collections to join their Senior Management team. As a leading figure in the business, you must be a logical thinker who is decisive and able to motivate colleagues to perform to the best of their abilities. It is vital that you have an inclusive management style as rewarding hard work and promoting team building are key characteristics to the business.
Working closely with the Managing Director and overseeing the Credit Control, Customer Care, Recoveries, Remarketing and Legal teams your remit will include but not be limited to:
* Conducting strategic reviews of all collections departments and implementing new strategies in accordance with the requirements of external agencies including the FCA and FLA
* Developing new and creative methods to improve collection rates
* Working closely with other company departments to keep arrears percentages low, reducing them where possible
* Ability to inspire, mould and develop team in a competitive market, whilst ensuring the core values of the organisation are upheld
* Embracing and promoting Treating Customers Fairly behaviours at all times
* Ensuring processes, policies, and training are adapted to meet the future needs of the business including potential process automation when beneficial
* Working closely to ensure scalability of processes to allow for continued business growth in headcount and client accounts
* Setting and monitoring of KPI's and SLA's to ensure a constant standard of service
* Producing reports and presenting them internally and externally
* Reviewing legal and litigation processes
