About the team

We are an expanding, dynamic team of accountants responsible for external reporting for the Allianz UK companies as well as interpreting and implementing new accounting standards across the Group. As a team we are responsible for Statutory reporting including being the first point of contact for our auditor and Regulatory reporting including Solvency II. Being part of a large group provides us with the opportunity to get involved in worldwide projects and foster state of the art technical knowledge through collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

This role would be suitable for a part-qualified accountant with experience in the production of statutory accounts with an interest in the interpretation and implementation of new accounting standards. The successful candidate will be required to:

• Assist with the IFRS reporting duties for the Allianz companies in the UK.

• Assist with the Solvency II reporting to the regulator on an annual and quarterly basis

• Assist in production of the UK Group's statutory accounts

• Assist in the interpretation of new accounting developments

• Assist with adhoc tasks and queries from customers

Skills and Experience:

• A high degree of analytical skills,
• Good technical accounting knowledge,
• Good communicator,
• Able to work under pressure,
• Working knowledge of SAP desirable.
