Production operatives urgently required for the Llangadog area! Immediate starts, Paid weekly!

Responsible for preparing the meat for mixing and cooking, ensuring that the correct ingredients and quantities are used. Ideally you will have previous experience working within a food factory environment but this is not essential.

Skills Required

• High levels of detail and accuracy

• Ability to carry out work instructions in a timely manner

• Working under own initiative

• High levels of food hygiene

• Ability to follow health & safety policies and procedures

• Liaising with other team members

General Duties

• Liaising with the Cold Stores
• Working from the Master File sheet to determine which meat goes into the relevant batch
• Cleaning of work area at the end of each shift
• Meat mixing
• Working from the Master File to ensure the correct quantity of meat goes into the batch
• Complying with the rules, policies and procedures as set out in the company Employee Handbook
• Undertaking the appropriate training required to carry out the duties of the post and enhance your own personal development
• Take responsibility for your own health & safety; including wearing the appropriate personal protective clothing/equipment whilst at work
• Perform any reasonable request given by the management team

Health and Safety Duties

• Maintaining H&S and hygiene standards in accordance with Company rules and regulations.
• Ensuring that all staff and visitors in the department wear appropriate PPE at all times.

Other Duties

• Carrying out other associated duties
