LOCATION: Pershore, near Worcester
JOB TITLE: Maintenance Engineer
SALARY: GBP28,000 - GBP32,000 dependant on experience + contributory pension + on-site car parking
WORKING HOURS: Monday - Thursday 7:45am - 5pm & Friday 7:45am - 1pm
THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a company who offer world class fabrication to both UK-based and international clients. Established in the 1970's the company has more than doubled in the last 3 years and is now seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join the team in Pershore, near Worcester.
THE ROLE: As the Maintenance Engineer you will be maintaining and repairing the manufacturing equipment and facilities at the Pershore site to best in class standards. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing an effective Planned Maintenance system for plan and equipment.
Key Responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer role to include:-
• Responsible for maintaining all equipment and facilities to ensure the manufacturing capability of the plant.
• Responsible for completing Planned Maintenance activities.
• Responsible for responding to and repairing all equipment breakdowns.
• Responsible for managing facilities maintenance of offices and wider plant.
• Responsible for managing contractors whilst on site.
THE CANDIDATE: The successful applicant will need to be a team player with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with others. You will be a well organised, self starter with a real bias for action and sense of urgency.
Key experience essential for the role of the Maintenance Engineer :-
• BTEC or HND/HNC in a role relevant subject (Apprentice qualified)
• Training and qualifications in role related health and safety regulations - LOLER, PUWER, Manual Handling, Working at Height, Hot Works etc
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role - with both electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
• Experience of facilities maintenance
• Live within a commutable distance to Pershore, near Worcester
