About the role

Sense supports people with all aspects of their lives and seeks someone who is motivated to assist with community based activities and new opportunities, as well as supporting people with their communication, personal care and daily living skills. Your patient care and encouragement will assist individuals to run their own lives; to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible.

We also enable people to take part in some of our amazing arts and wellbeing activities - from dance to music making, swimming to rock climbing.

We also have casual (bank) opportunities in this area, on both day and night shift patterns, attracting an hourly rate of GBP7.83.

About you

Experience is not necessarily required for this role as we are able to support you and provide you with an excellent induction. However, it is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people's lives. You must also be willing to work with people whose behaviour may challenge (full training and ongoing support is provided).

Flexibility is needed as working times do vary and will include evenings, weekends and sleep-ins; we will however provide you with a rota in advance so you can plan your life accordingly.
