EduStaff are currently looking for a dedicated Human Communications, Psychology or Speech and Language graduate to join a friendly 2 form entry Primary School, located in Maidstone.
We are looking to appoint an inspiring graduate for the position of a KS2 Learning Support Assistant, where you will particularly be focusing on Speech & Language. This is a full-time position (5 days a week) from October 2018 until July 2019.
- You must possess a minimum of a 2:1 in your university degree
- Have an A-C grade in GCSE English, Maths and Science
- Experience with young children Is not essential however, could be beneficial
- Must have a good understanding of Speech & Language and feel confident in supporting KS2 children with these difficulties
Speech & Language Assistant/LSA: The Role -
- Working on a one-to-one basis with children in KS2
- Focusing on improving the communication difficulties in bilingual children or SEN pupils
- Opportunity to gain valuable experience within Speech & Language
- Daily rate of GBP60-GBP65 which is paid weekly
- Working closely with the school SENCO to monitor the children's progress
