Teaching Assistant Hatchlands Primary School

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 1:00pm, (term time only)

Responsibilities of the role

  • Supporting Reception classes providing classroom support, 1:1 and group learning 
  • Lunchtime supervision

Requirements for the role

  • GCSE in both Maths and English A-C grade
  • Relevant experience working with children of primary age 
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Great organisation and leadership skills 
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • A positive 'can do attitude' and creativity
  • Approachable and personable personality

Teaching Assistant Sandcross Primary School x3

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm (term time only)

Responsibilities of the role

  • Promote pupil learning and an inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Support the classroom teacher with day-to-day activities 
  • Contribute to student assessment and progress tracking 
  • Preparation of teaching materials
  • Follow and ensure all safeguarding policies are met
  • Maintaining confidentiality inside and outside the workplace
  • Assist with outings and events

Requirements for the role

  • GCSE in both Maths and English A-C grade
  • Degree in relevant subject area 
  • Relevant experience working with children of primary age 
  • Strong IT skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Great organisation and leadership skills 
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • A positive 'can do attitude' and creativity
  • Approachable and personable personality
