Teaching Assistant Hatchlands Primary School
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 1:00pm, (term time only)
Responsibilities of the role
- Supporting Reception classes providing classroom support, 1:1 and group learning
- Lunchtime supervision
Requirements for the role
- GCSE in both Maths and English A-C grade
- Relevant experience working with children of primary age
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Great organisation and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- A positive 'can do attitude' and creativity
- Approachable and personable personality
Teaching Assistant Sandcross Primary School x3
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm (term time only)
Responsibilities of the role
- Promote pupil learning and an inclusive learning environment for all students
- Support the classroom teacher with day-to-day activities
- Contribute to student assessment and progress tracking
- Preparation of teaching materials
- Follow and ensure all safeguarding policies are met
- Maintaining confidentiality inside and outside the workplace
- Assist with outings and events
Requirements for the role
- GCSE in both Maths and English A-C grade
- Degree in relevant subject area
- Relevant experience working with children of primary age
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Great organisation and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- A positive 'can do attitude' and creativity
- Approachable and personable personality
