Our client is an independent training provider that has been helping young people move forward with their lives for over 30 years.

Joining them as Progression Co-ordinator, you will market, advertise and ‘sell’ students to potential employers and businesses for work experience, jobs, apprenticeships and further education opportunities.

Setting, managing and monitoring students’ study programmes, you will undertake regular in-centre and placement reviews to measure students’ progress and deliver employability based workshops to groups as appropriate. You will ensure students have access to good quality career guidance and progress them into positive destinations whether this be an apprenticeship, employment or further education.

They are looking for a highly motivated, innovative and solution focused individual who can build a rapport with a target group but also communicate professionally with employers and progression sources. As their ambassador, you will remain positive and have a bubbly, engaging personality and be able to persuade and influence others and deal with conflict and challenging behaviour.

You’ll need to have excellent communication and organisational skills, be persistent and tenacious and be able to work on own initiative to targets and deadlines. Those who have experience of outreach, sales, marketing or recruitment are highly desirable, as are those who have experience of working with 16 - 18 year olds.

The welfare of their students is paramount therefore the successful candidate will be subject to a DBS check.
