About this job:

Our client is a leading international organisation that specialises in temporary power rental (generator hire). Due to some exciting internal changes we are looking to recruit a sector development manager responsible for the HV (high voltage) market. This role will be field based and can be based anywhere in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

As Sector Development Manager for High Voltage, you'll be responsible for working with new potential customers to ascertain their HV/ electrical requirements that will fall part of a highly complex major power generation project. You'll play an integral role of winning new clients within a sales project team and become the expert for electrical related enquiries and requirements, adding depth and understanding to major projects. The role is a mix of pro-active and re-active sales activity to support Aggreko sales teams across all industries.

You will be responsible for specifically targeting the following markets and accounts: HV Contractors, Consultants, DNO's and IDO's supporting all bids and tenders as well as internal requirements from other sales teams, that will require your ability to think logically as a consultant to the business.

Qualifications

You will apply extreme attention to detail for highly complex HV related projects, therefore you will come from a technical background and have worked with or on HV projects and systems. You will most likely have achieved the C&G 6037 HV System Operations certification (Or agree to take this course as part of strategic development)

You will have worked on high voltage installations or projects and more recently moved into a customer facing or sales role, potentially already selling HV related projects.

Having worked in a fast paced, rental or hire environment would be ideal.

Your experience of commercial sales may have been gained either in field sales or a new business development role with some experience of consultative selling
