A great opportunity for a commercially minded Biomedical or Clinical Scientist with experience in Cellular Pathology to move into scientific sales!
PRODUCTS: Cellular Pathology Instrumentation and associated products
TERRITORY: North London and East Anglia
CLIENTS: NHS and private clinical laboratories
Sales knowledge is not essential as full training is provided, but drive and motivation to move into a customer focused role is required.
This role is 80% field-based, travelling to different customer sites across the region, with around 1 day per week working from home.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieve sales and margin targets for the region via maintaining current customer relationships and developing new business opportunities.
Ensure KPIs are reached in terms of meeting number of customer visit objectives.
Be aware of the market, trends and competitor analysis.
Maintain up to date records for all Key Prospects.
To visit your key customers at least once per quarter - ensure their needs are met and are satisfied with the service.
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure that tenders are processed efficiently.
Attend company meetings, conferences, seminars and exhibitions when required.
REQUIREMENTS:
If new to scientific sales, experience working ideally as a Biomedical or Clinical Scientist is essential, with experience & expertise in histology/histopathology techniques.
Relevant scientific degree, excellent communication skills, customer focused.
