My client is a leading manufacturer in the medical devices sector. They are in the middle of an exciting period of growth and as such require a Product Development Scientist to join their existing NPD team based near Glasgow.
The successful candidate will be working with cutting edge technology and systems to develop world class solutions to today's medical problems.
Key Role Responsibilities
* Design of Verification & Validation protocols
* Analytical test method and Process method development
* Transfer of process & product to Manufacture
* Working cross functionally and providing technical advice to other departments
Desired Experience
* Chemistry, Material Science, or relevant scientific discipline.
* Relevant experience in industry such as medical device, product development or research.
* Organic chemistry background with experience in working with gelatin and or sealants.
* Experience in the use of HPLC, GC and FTIR preferred.
* Proven ability of method development.
