Overview

CHP is a locally managed and governed charitable housing association based in Chelmsford, Essex and was named one of the top 25 housing associations to work for in the Sunday Times Best Not-For-Profit Organisations 2018.

In this role, you will be responsible for the procurement of all goods and services in the DLO supply chain, leading in the review of procurement arrangements and analysing spend to inform purchasing decisions.

Using your excellent IT skills and experience in leading tendering opportunities and evaluations, you will produce performance data across the delivery teams to ensure value for money and drive continuous improvement. In addition, you will have experience in computerised e-commerce and e-tender procurement processes. 

Experience of ‘just-in time’ stock management and an understanding of the principles of ‘lean’ and ‘systems thinking’ would be advantageous.
