Summary

To maximise profitable sales and control overhead expenses, in line with the business plan and overall company policy and strategy. Financial Impact:

Accountable for the financial performance of the branch.

Manage the Profit and Loss account, controlling unnecessary spend and maximising opportunities.

*

Effectively manage the branch budget to meet financial targets.

*

Actively seek opportunities with the team to increase sales opportunities for new, lapsed and existing customers.

*

Effectively increase profitable sales opportunities through correct product mix and merchandising in-line with company policy.

*

Build rapport with customers through excellent customer service, understanding their requirements and ensuring that the correct products are supplied; thus, securing the most profitable quotes and on-going business.

*

Use product knowledge to identify sales opportunities, offering advice and solutions to customers, therefore maximising profitable sales.

Accountable for the timely return of faulty/damaged goods and ensuring up-to-date accurate stock records and deliveries are processed correctly.

Analyse reports to seek opportunities for sales growth; communicating any decisions with the team.

People Management

Quickly and efficiently deal with people management issues, as and when they arise.

Establish relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues, Regional Managers, customers and suppliers.

Must Have's

Profit and loss accountability experience, Able to deal with constantly changing priorities, Excellent team leadership skills, Strong numerical skills, Experience of driving sales whilst reducing costs, Full UK Driving licence
