Accounts Department Manager

Due to retirement Tecaz are currently looking for an Accounts Manager for a busy accounts department, with direct supervision of 4 accounts staff also liaising with another 12 order processing and customer service staff.

Must be familiar with Excel, Sage Line 50, 200 and Payroll. With the ability to generate reports in both Sage Line 50 and 200 Formats.

Responsible for invoices, suppliers’ statements, payments, returns, credits and purchases being properly checked and processed.

Ensuring customers cash, credit card and finance payments balance with sales. Checking of Consumer Credit applications made by sales staff and checking that all credit requirements are correct and when completed ensure payment is received in a timely manner.

Checking that staff have fulfilled the requirements for disability claims by customers for VAT allowances needed to satisfy Customs and Excise.
Supervision of Payroll, commission and pension processes for approximately 90 staff using sage Payroll.

Responsibility for international purchases and payment processes, also familiarity with import documentation.

Knowledge of stock control processes using Sage Line 50 and 200
Responsible for Petty Cash. Paypal and credit card Purchases ensuring that they are properly entered and allocated.

Ability to produce balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts. Reviewing VAT returns prior to Accounts submission
