Exciting opportunity to work in a varied and busy role supporting the Head of Sales and Marketing UK and his team of Business Development Executives. You will be responsible for providing a consistently high level of administrative support to the sales team, assisting in the delivery of sales and marketing initiatives to achieve business objectives. You will enjoy diary management, arranging meetings, travel arrangements, handling expenses, co-ordinating the weekly attendance for the team, producing correspondence, documents and reports, assisting with the preparation of presentations, tenders and proposals documentation and organising client events. Acting as a point of contact for the sales team, you will respond professionally and effectively with telephone queries and where appropriate liaise with other departments ensuring any resulting queries are managed in a timely and customer focused manner. You will maintain all aspects of client records in the CRM system and use your initiative to research potential prospects via the internet, databases and publications to build the client database and to help generate new business, updating the system with prospecting information. The role will involve travel to our London office and may involve travel to events within the UK. This is an interesting and involved role proactively supporting business development and therefore requiring someone who is accustomed to working in a B2B sales support role, ideally within the financial services industry. With a natural attention to detail you will have excellent organisational skills, lots of initiative and a pro-active approach to work. Your outstanding communication skills are paramount as you will have extensive liaison with internal and external clients. You must be committed to achieving results of a high quality and be confident and adaptable in a rapidly changing environment. Competency using MS Office applications is essential.
