Rate of Pay: £13,441 - £14,990 per annum, pro rata of £19,202 to £21,414 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Hours:  Part Time, 25.9 hours per week with flexibility in working pattern

About the role

The primary role will be maintaining and developing records for all aspects of the work that is undertaken within the office including health and safety inspections, accident reporting and fire risk assessments.. The range of work is broad and varied and there will be opportunities to contribute to the way that administration procedures are managed.

About you (requirements)

You will be an experienced office administrator and will need to be able to work as a team member, and also be able to work independently.  A genuine interest in occupational health safety and well-being would be advantageous as would a willingness to participate in further learning and development opportunities.

The Safety Health and Environment Office is based at Newton Park near Bath, within picturesque grounds featuring a lake and rolling fields. You will be part of a small team but there is a real sense of community amongst the wider staff population. Our primary responsibility is to ensure that the University are compliant with all necessary Health and Safety Regulations, but we strive to use innovative ways of engaging with staff and students to see the benefits of a positive safety culture.
