Programmes Officers – Regeneration & Funding Team (4 Posts)
The Regeneration & Funding Team seeks skilled and enthusiastic Programme Officers to support the delivery of economic development projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team delivering a range of externally funded projects across the East Riding. The roles are diverse and will involve a range of tasks including claim processing, financial monitoring, governance and compliance support, administrative tasks such as arranging meetings and note taking, liaising with partners and stakeholders, as well as assisting with publicity and promotion of programmes.
To be successful in this key role you will demonstrate commitment, flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team to deliver contract outputs and targets. You must display strong experience of working with systems, processes and procedures, have proficient IT skills, particularly in the use of Excel, have a high degree of attention to detail, be well-organised and able to communicate succinctly and clearly.
Knowledge of Government and European funding would be beneficial, but not essential as training will be given.
We have four fixed term full-time posts available (job share will be considered) at the following locations:
Hornsea (covering Hornsea and Bridlington)
Please state preferred location on your application form and if you wish to be considered for other posts.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an assessment day on 5 November 2018. The selection process will involve an interview and assessment tests. You will have the opportunity to meet the teams and learn more about working for the council.
