My Client are a major supplier of stainless steel long products. They are looking for someone to increase market share and grow their brand in the North of England.
They offer a diverse range of products in stainless and heat resistant steel in various grade and forms including bars, hollow bars, flat bars, key steel, square and hexagonal bars, tubes, pipes and fittings.
The primary focus of the successful applicant is to expand the customer base, whilst supporting the growth and development of the business. Based at the premises in Barnsley, the ideal candidate will act as the driving force to generate new sales leads and contacts within the stainless steel Industry.
Job Profile
The position involves business development focusing on generating new business, as well as working with existing customers. This will involve particular focus on expanding and developing the customer base of end users to a range of industry sectors. This newly created management role, will allow the ideal candidate to work with the existing sales team and will also be involved in identifying and employing new recruits to expand the current sales force.
Personal requirements.
The successful candidate must be well organised, have a confident manner with proficient ICT skills. You will be required to demonstrate your ability in generating interest and converting quotations into orders. Must have a customer focused attitude with a high level of attention to detail
