With various challenges across the Healthcare Recruitment market throughout the last 18 months, we've seen a real diversification of business approach. Some have moved to focus on Permanent Rec, others have focused on local Community Healthcare. In this instance we're looking for a Business Development Manager to lead the growth of NHS clients within a very "under the radar" niche within the market place.
The company itself has been growing year on year for 6 years, with an office just North of London and a growing recruitment team. They are not one the "day to day" brands but are genuinely reaching a point of market leadership. The remit of the Business Development role will be focused on 2 areas:
- Existing SLA/ Client account management - As a Government framework approved Recruitment provider there is strong legacy of relationship to manage. This will take on a consistent client cycle with review meetings but also discussion around new areas of supply where possible. Managing tender opportunities and ensuring consistent fill rates will add to the day to day of this role
- New client growth - Our client has hundreds of temporary Healthcare specialists booked each week. There is however a huge opportunity to push for increased market share. This aspect of the role will require more "Hunter" than account manager so we need a BD specialist with exposure to both aspects of the traditional BD cycle. In this instance we'll need a Business Developer who can map markets & stakeholders before moving towards engagement and discussion.
The MD of this organisation offers vast Healthcare experience and is an incredibly structured, motivational and professional leader. This position will report directly to the MD who will offer absolute assistance towards strategy but will ultimately trust you to manage your diary. There will be national travel involved in this position.
Our Account Manager for this vacancy has worked with the company before and can offer a detailed and honest overview of the position and the culture of the company. We are happy to schedule calls around potential candidates' diaries and we are happy to have an informal discussion before you decide if it could be the right role for you
