STUDENT ENGAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

Grade 7, points 23-26 (GBP21,693 - GBP23,866)
40 hours per week, term time only plus 1 week (8am to 4.30pm)
(GBP19,857 - GBP21,846 pro-rata)

You will have:
  • Good A Levels and/or a degree
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, especially in communication
  • Excellent organisational, administrative and IT skills

The Role:

Tanbridge House School is interested in developing a brand new role in order to help students learn and develop their thinking, reading and problem solving skills.
You will be based in our Learning Resource Centre and complete a range of tasks which include:
Supporting students of all abilities with reading literacy skills
Helping students to engage in a range of extra-curricular activities which could include environmental studies & awareness and developing programmes to support our schools mission to develop active citizens both now and in the future

The role is not really about pastoral support, it is much more about developing the lifelong skills that will make students really productive in the workplace and a variety of social situations. Expressions of interest and presentations.

If you are interested the Headteacher and other senior colleagues will give a presentation to provide further details. At this stage, all we require is a brief expression of interest (8-10 lines). You must, however, have the skills and qualifications noted above.
