The Company: Our client, a sixth form college situated on the outskirts of the historic market town of Cirencester and surrounded by Cirencester Park, has a calm yet lively atmosphere. It attracts students from a wide area, creating a diverse and stimulating community. They currently have an excellent opportunity for an HR Advisor to join the team on a full time, permanent basis.
The Role: As an HR Advisor, you will work in this generalist role with a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to recruitment, payroll, DBS checks, administrative tasks and advising staff on HR policies and processes. This is a role where duties can change on a daily basis and would be well suited to a candidate that likes variety.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Supporting the HR Manager with effective day to day supervision of the HR function
• Ensuring timely and accurate HR information is available to managers and staff
• Ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of payroll submissions, contract variations, correspondence and pension information
• Supporting the HR Manager on designated projects to ensure completion to deadline
The Candidate: As an HR Advisor, you will be a passionate part or fully qualified HR professional. You must be highly organised, have excellent interpersonal and IT skills, a calm and flexible approach; you will be self-motivated, presenting ideas and handling challenges with confidence. Above all, you'll be able to manage conflicting priorities whilst ensuring objectives are achieved.

• Previous experience in a similar role
• CIPD qualified / part qualified
