Faculty / Directorate

The Marketing and Communications Directorate offers full-service marketing and communications support to the university, comprising reputation management; brand development and oversight; recruitment campaigns; CRM and conversion campaigns; schools and colleges engagement; enquiry management and follow up; internal communications; media relations; design and publications development; Faculty marketing and recruitment; web and digital development; and market insight.

Role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our busy marketing team. The team produces innovative and engaging marketing collateral to support student recruitment, reputation building, research and commercial marketing. This post supports colleagues in professional services (internal departments) to develop high-impact and effective marketing material for use online and in print.

The role will liaise with external suppliers as well as the in-house Marketing and Communications teams to produce high quality marketing and communications collateral. Key to this role is assisting with the management of workflow in and out of the Marketing and Communications Directorate.

Ideal Candidate

Educated to degree level, you will be an excellent communicator, with strong IT skills, have a flexible, pro-active approach with the ability to multi-task and enjoy working in a busy office environment. A professional marketing qualification and knowledge of the current Higher Education market would also be advantageous. You will have delivered high quality and innovative marketing solutions and have experience of working with external media providers and suppliers and producing design briefs. You will also require proven experience of working across teams and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
