The Role:
Taking day-to-day responsibility for a factory based electro-mechnical assembly team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Planning work and supervising whilst working alongside the team.

• Setting mechanical press tools, ensuring correct use of hand tooling, resolving technical issues, competent stage build inspection and test.

• Working to ISO 9001 procedures maintain a high standard of 5S workplace organisation whilst maintaining best practice H&S. Identify process improvements and implement where necessary. Liaise with Production and Quality teams.

• Train others to ensure all manufacturing operations can be completed across the team.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

• Proven qualifications and skills in electro mechanical assembly, soldering, looming and tool set up.

• Previous experience managing a team and allocating work in a cellular environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Computer literate, familiar with MRP/ERP systems and able to read technical drawings.
