Our client is currently seeking an experienced Financial Controller on a part-time basis (16-24 hours per week) to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers a wonderful opportunity to join an established and thriving business in a senior position.

The Role: The postholder will be tasked with providing proactive management accounting services to the business. This will be a highly varied role; key responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

• Preparation of budgets
• Review performance against financial objectives and budgets
• Prepare financial forecasts
• Appraise the directors of the business of the company’s financial position and the financial implications of various decisions
• Day-to-day financial management
• Prepare annual financial statements
• Prepare audit files and liaise with auditors
• Cost centre optimisation and control
• Maintain security controls
• Manage control of sales and purchasing procedures
• Ensure prompt payment of suppliers
• Overseeing payroll
