Project Development Manager
Cornwall College are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to manage project development and business planning activities, working across all aspects of the Cornwall College Group in support of the core purpose of 'Making Learning Work'
This exciting role sits within the dynamic 'Project Services' team working at the strategic heart of the college who attract, secure and manage millions of pounds worth of funding to deliver exciting projects which benefit individuals, the local business community and the college itself.
This will involve:
- Identifying and prioritising initiatives and project opportunities.
- Researching and developing an evidence base to underpin our involvement in new projects.
- Engaging, collaborating and negotiating with external organisations in the development of partnership projects.
- Providing support with the development of funding applications, business plans and tender responses for the Executive Leadership Team.
To succeed in this role, you must be able to demonstrate a track record of project development/ business planning with excellent communication and influencing skills.
An ability to develop effective relationships and be a team player will be important in this role, due to its complex and collaborative nature. You should be educated to degree or HND level.
The Cornwall College Group's Project Services team develops, manages and monitors a large and varied portfolio of projects which support the Group's strategic direction. This exciting portfolio includes projects which help develop individuals and businesses to achieve their potential. Project Services has a successful track record of securing in excess of GBP 100m of funding on behalf of the College and a broad range of partner organisations.
