About the Role:

Through effective leadership and detailed legislative knowledge, you will ensure that Aster provides a compliant servicing and maintenance regime that delivers a “safety first” culture in an affordable, efficient and customer-orientated manner.

You will manage a team and lead on the monitoring and management of contractors and consultants to ensure cyclical servicing, inspections, reactive and capital programmes are completed on time. You will ensure effective data management systems, procedures and programmes of work are in place and adhered to. Your team will also provide technical support and expert guidance across the organisation on such matters relating to portfolio areas. You will be responsible for:


•      Lifting Equipment

•     Fire Detection and Prevention

•      CCTV Systems

•     Security and Door Entry Systems

•      Water Quality

•     Radon Extract Systems

•      TV Ariel Systems

•     Emergency Lighting

•      Fall Arrest Equipment

•     White Goods, including commercial kitchens


About You:

To be a success in this position you will possess a relevant technical qualification, preferably mechanical and/or electrical bias. You will have a minimum of five years experience in managing the performance of Outsourced Service providers to ensure service compliance in-line with our “safety first” culture.  It’s important that you have a good understanding of statutory requirements for Building Services such as, but not limited to, The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998, PUWER regulations and Legionella. You must also be an effective communicator who embraces digital solutions to manage and ensure service compliance.
