Job Duties:
Component Assessment -
• Assess overall condition of unit.
• Strip unit in accordance Carwood work instructions.
• Clean unit in accordance Carwood work instructions.
Clean Room -
• Receive unit and assess individual components to ensure they are fit for purpose.
• Complete Job Card with any additional BOM required.
• Build Injectors/pumps in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
• Comply with clean room regulations at all times.
Test -
• Test injectors/pumps to OE specification.
• Report any faults to the Production Manager who will advise what action if any is needed.
Produce work of a consistently high quality whilst working efficiently and effectively.
Ensure that all company procedures are adhered to - these include health and safety, quality and standard operating procedures.
Ensure the accurate completion of company paperwork, including job cards, production tracking sheets and QHSE documentation.
Requirement/Experience/Competence/Qualifications:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel) or willing to work towards.
* Knowledge of QHSE Legislation.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task, and work under pressure.
* Proven experience to work as part of a team.
* Displays a good attitude towards work, and the aims and objectives of the company.
* Knowledge or awareness of Diesel Systems
