Portable Device Category Coordinator
Thames Valley Park, Reading
Contract is 18 months
Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Global IT Client to recruit a Portable Device Category Coordinator. This is a contract role based in Reading for 18 months.
As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays pro rota, discounted gym membership, use of the onsite health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant.
Salary: £40,485 per annum, based on experience, plus benefits

The EMEA Category Team is looking for a Portable Device Category Coordinator who is able to help drive category planning, marketing deliverables and v-team organisation across our tablet business.
Responsibilities
A typical day in this role can include:
" Collect, gather and organise key Product and other relevant data cascaded from the US and EMEA HQ
" Be the EMEA point of contact regarding Product information, Marketing assets, Logistic information
" Track Team key to-do list and chase if necessary (be the EMEA Team "compass")
" Collect/chase relevant local country co-workers across EMEA in order to build EMEA views on topics such as Promotion plans, Marketing activities, Market price tracking, etc.
" Be the gatekeeper of key meeting content, making sure everything is ready for ETA
" Keep Team schedule up-to-date and anticipate activities needing preparation
" Create shared points of information in a structured manner
" Organise EMEA team gathering in different location across EMEA
" Maintains and updates tools
" Researches and prepares reports and team comms
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will be:
" Have an understanding of Retail (B2C) and what Retail Partnership means
" Understand market dynamics (market size/trends, Product lifecycle, price point and promotion impacts)
" Be familiar with general Manufacturer constrains such as supply availability, Marketing and promotion funding, Gross margin and ROI.
" Understand EMEA project management with its multi-product/language/currency/Tax complexity
" B2B experience is a plus
" 5 years administrative or project coordination experience in fast-paced environment
" Positive energy and can-do attitude
" Effective project management skills; strong written and verbal communication skills.
" Learn new tools and deliver high quality results on time.
" Highly detail oriented and effective organisational skills.
" Ability to effectively implement and monitor complex plans and schedules.
" Ability to work effectively within a virtual team (majority of team based throughout EMEA)
" Strong working knowledge of MSOffice (Outlook, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, TEAMs, OneNote.)
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
" Expert in Team co-ordination
" Strong Corp and virtual team relationship management
" Go to person for information and problem solving
" Excellent visual presentation skills (performance reports and emails) with eye for detail and ability to summarise complex business issues.
" Rockstar at manipulating reports and power BI.
" Able to thrive in Virtual team environment (team based across EMEA)
" Strong administration skills (TEAMs and OneNote)
