You must be:-

An experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant - This is a MUST for this TA role

Demonstrate a track record of working with young children
Stimulating learning and play on a 1-2-1 and small group basis
An inspiring Teaching Assistant with a caring and supportive approach

You will play a key part in the learning and development of young people who have challenging behaviour and who require additional classroom support.

You will be responsible for supporting learners to access learning and achieve their potential, whilst promoting their independence. You may be responsible for personal care and physical intervention as per individual learners needs.

The successful candidate will have 12 months experience in a similar role, an engaging personality and the ability to support young adults to reach their educational goals. Experience in supporting clients with moving and handling and personal care is essential, and the confidence and ability to manage challenging behaviours. Team Teach or similar training is beneficial.
