Class 2 Driver

Our Client is an international multi-service provider, offering textile, hygiene and facility services solutions. Present in Europe and Latin America, they are a leader in most of the 28 countries in which they operate, employing 45,000 professionals at 440 production and services centers; this is a great opportunity to join a company that supports their people!

They are looking for a Class 2 Driver to join their team based out of their Inchinnan site. The position involves working 48 hours (on average) per week on a flexible shift pattern – 4/7 or 5/7. Within the role, you will be required to drop off and pick up cages and hamper bags of linen to hotels, gyms and leisure facilities throughout Scotland and the north of England.

With knowledge of Drivers hours, Working Time Directive and tachograph compliance and experience of carrying out safety checks, vehicle defect reports, time sheets and fuel logs, you will be the last point of call between our Client and their customers and so you must be customer focused and flexible in your working hours.

All that they ask is that you hold a Class 2 licence, an up to date driver CPC and ideally have some Class 2 driving experience.  Please note that the job is of a physical nature, delivering and collecting cages of linen and sometimes may involve some bag work and you will be expected to pass our in-house driver assessment upon appointment.
