Stoke on Trent College are looking for a School Liaison & Events officer to start in November. The successful candidate will be working in schools and on site, encouraging students to make our college their first choice post 16. This is your chance to play a key role in helping young people in Stoke & Staffordshire to realise their potential. As part of our highly successful School Liaison Team, you will facilitate the progression of young people from school to college and helping to raise their aspirations. The Student Liaison Officer is an integral role in our extensive work with schools; Focused on delivering a creative, responsive, and stimulating programme, you will establish close relationships with staff in schools and support services while liaising across the College to ensure we take a co-ordinated approach in meeting the needs of schools. The team is focused on attracting and converting applications from potential students whilst providing high quality advice to prospective students and their parents. The successful candidate will preferably have substantial knowledge of working within further education student recruitment. We are looking for an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and organisational skills, a can-do attitude and the ability to work as part of a team and their own initiative. You must have worked in an environment which is busy and rapidly changing and where working to deadlines is the norm and a flexible approach to work is essential.
