Portsmouth Based
GBP25,000 - GBP30,000
We are pleased to be recruiting for an Accounts & Tax Senior (personal) to join our growing team.
Here at Genius Tax we advocate entrepreneurial spirit, recruiting elite people to join our Business teams that are experts in their field. This is an excellent opportunity for a practising Tax Senior to widen their exposure to a mixed corporate and personal tax role.

You're self-motivated and like variety, in return this will be embraced by colleagues who will be happy to pass on their extensive knowledge within their industry sectors.
Duties to include:
• Preparation of personal tax returns
• Preparation of tax computations for self-employed individuals/partnerships
• Submissions to HM Revenue & Customs
• Other ad-hoc assistance with tax matters
• Assistance in completion of P11D and other HMRC sundry forms
• Management all aspects of client portfolios (accounting, tax and audit)
• General accountancy assistance to the finance department
We would like you to have
• ACA or ACCA qualified
• CAT or studying towards desired
• Strong general accountancy background, including personal tax
• Superb attention to detail
• Confidence in dealing with HMRC and client interaction
• 3-5 years' post qualification experience in a business or practice-based environment
• Sage 50 & Sage Payroll experience
