We are looking for bright and ambitious individuals to join Agilisys as we are growing our consulting practice. We are looking for people who can engage with our client's senior leadership, business representatives, and technology teams to understand current state business and technology landscape, and then to shape a strategy and transformation approach that will deliver outstanding client outcomes. The role would be responsible for delivering a range of work from revised operating models to technology strategies and their corresponding IT architectures.
We are looking for Consultants to join our business with the attitude and skills to help clients visualise new opportunities and see the resulting projects through to completion and deliver, and who are able to work in a fast-paced dynamic culture focused on customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Howwillyouspendyourdays?
As a Consultant, your responsibility is to solve client problems, and to develop a great relationship with our clients. This could be in the following ways:
- To support creating a new IT Solution or amend existing processes in line with business requirements.
- Support the development of innovative and pragmatic proposals that address client requirements
- Understand the business impact of technology and how it enables the business case
- Identify related needs (lead generation, opportunity expansion) when engaging with customers and advances opportunities using effective consultative selling techniques.
- Identify and shape potential programmes and projects to meet business outcomes
- Responsible for the smooth transition from sales to implementation by orienting the appropriate teams to the solution design, and the mobilisation and control of cross-disciplinary teams to facilitate solutions
- Builds customer loyalty through being a trusted advisor
- Actively support the account team with solution advice, proposals, presentations, and other customer communications
- Will work closely with colleagues in the Bids & Tendering team to support new opportunities
Howtostandout?
- To have a clear ability in capturing and innovating business processes. Solid BA skills, whether from a lean background or otherwise
- Exposure to change management; knowledge of change management techniques are an advantage
- Expertise in business case development
- Highly numerate
- IT skills including Microsoft Office suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience, plus a point of view on one or more of our areas of focus: digital customer engagement; digital transformation, ITS transformation; the application of analytics to drive business value
- Certifications in relevant technologies such as Microsoft (MCSA, MCSD, MCSE, MTA), Oracle (OCA, OCP) and others
- Knowledge of market leading Information System products, their capabilities and business benefits
- Demonstrable subject matter expertise and leadership in one or more of following technologies
- IaaS platforms including Microsoft Azure and AWS
- Windows 365 Products
- Virtualisation such as VMWare, Oracle Virtual Machine
- Operating system such as Windows Server, Oracle Linux, CentOS, etc
- Networking such as Cisco, Juniper
- Business areas such as Local Government, Blue Light, Health
- Technical area such as applications development frameworks, COTS software, data analytics, System integration
