No KPI's, nice charity, great boss (she leaves you to it) and a chance to help disadvantaged job seekers find employment. This employer is great to work for and treat their staff well (4 people have been promoted in the last 18 months that we have placed).
The aim of your role is to help employers access job seekers who are typically at a disadvantage to finding work. This could be due to a disability, or having a challenging family life, or maybe just being stuck in the unemployment cycle. You will work with employers to help them deliver recruitment campaigns, but tap into their corporate social responsibility in hiring job ready people who can really make a difference to the bottom line. You will be working in partnership with an employment support team who help you deliver your recruitment campaigns for employers. Their role is to work with job seekers and get the job ready. You need to find them the opportunities.
The projects you deliver will range from one off vacancies, large projects which involve 2 week training programmes prior to set interview days, as well as introducing employers to a project where they can take on a job seeker with a disability for 6 months and the wages get paid by the government.
Ideally you will have a background in welfare to work and a track record of engaging with employers to secure work. Alternatively, people with a recruitment or sales background would suit this position well. Please apply via this advert. If you would like to find out more before applying, feel free to call the office and ask for James (or if by chance you have applied and not heard back, as we guarantee feedback / advice).
You can be based in either Hackney, Islington or Croydon, and plan your week as you want to. People with a recruitment, employer engagement or sales background, or with experience of helping unemployed job seekers secure work would be a really good fit for this role.
