M&E Surveyor (SURME473)

Currently, we are recruiting for the following:
Purpose: Carry out detailed surveys of M&E equipment, systems and plant, identifying defects, including possible proposals for repair. Carrying out feasibility studies. Advising on the health and safety aspects of buildings key activities and company or legal standards to be complied with.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect all M&E assets on the Garrison and prepare reports and surveys in preparation for the annual Lifecycle and AMP including reviewing:
• Reactive and Planned Maintenance records.
• Previous condition surveys for equipment, systems and plant.
• Room Data Sheets.
• Advise team members on all required works to meet changes in legislation/standards.
• Manage the planning of works in line with the lifecycle periodicity plans and Garrison rates of use.
• Complete room environmental measuring surveys to inform RDS.
Education & Skills required:
• Educated to a minimum GCSE grade C or above including English & Mathematics
• C&G or NVQ in core Building Services discipline.
• Level of experience and/or knowledge required in Technical, Business or Managerial areas of responsibility.
• Ability to demonstrate a proactive, flexible approach performing well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
• Good IT skills with a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft applications
