Training Officer

We are now looking to recruit a full time Training Officer to support the business by delivering Induction and update training. You will also deliver specialist workshops to ensure all employees provide a person centred, flexible service to all Carewatch Customers.

The role will be delivering training at our offices in Dereham, Ipswich, Market Harborough, and Milton Keynes however national travel may be required on an adhoc basis.
Duties will include:
Deliver Care Worker Induction Training ensuring that all employees have the required knowledge and competence for their role
Deliver Care Worker Annual Update Training ensuring all employees remain compliant with their training
When using administrative systems such as Staff Plan, ensure factual, accurate information is held and that all computerised and manual records are up to date
To ensure that Training within defined branches remains compliant at all times
To support the branch in scheduling the required level of training activity to meet the branches needs
To ensure that the Training Matrix produced via StaffPlan is accurate
To actively participate in the growth and development of the branch through sharing how Care Workers can maximise every sales and marketing opportunity through living the brand values
To ensure that Health & Safety legislation is adhered to at all times
To support in the recruitment and selection of Care Workers
To assess the competence level within each Training Workshop to ensure all employees are meeting the standards required
To support the sign off process for Care Worker Induction by providing relevant and constructive feedback
To build good working relationships with the branches whom you are responsible for
Preparation and production of reports as required
Person Specification:
The role holder will be a person centred individual who thrives on imparting their knowledge and experience with others to ensure they have the necessary skills and competence to carry out their role. With strong communication skills, the new addition to the Training team will be passionate about training and development and have the confidence to deliver workshops to a breadth of individuals.
You will also be PTLLS qualified or equivalent or be willing to undertake a relevant teaching qualification.
