The Sales Operations Director will provide strategic input, project oversight, process improvement and tactical execution of Sales Operations at Allocate. They will work closely with the CFO and GMs to build and maintain tools, processes and data that enables an efficient and successful Sales organisation. Principle Job Elements & Responsibilities: * Sales Analytics and reporting - develop key performance metrics, reporting tools and dashboards to drive and optimise sales: + Work with Finance, Marketing and Sales leadership to manage top-down and bottom-up forecasting; create benchmarks, trending and analysis. Partner with GMs to hold sales teams accountable to forecasts and organisational processes. + Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly sales performance and management reports + Build and monitor metrics and reports to track performance and success, producing analytics and business intelligence + Pipeline management - conduct business reviews and build dashboards, monitor pipeline to drive sales performance - provide early flags for pipeline gaps / discrepancies to plan and ensuring the adequate pipeline coverage to meet the business plan(s) + Data Management - ensure quality and accuracy of data and analysis + Build and maintain sales operations programme models to estimate and track actual leads, opportunities and bookings + Analyse and provide sales and process performance metrics, analysis and insight + Work with Sales Directors and GMs to ensure Sales systems are being used in accordance with sales processes and business cycle reporting * Sales Infrastructure and Processes - ensure high level of controls and processes resulting in quality and accuracy of data: + Define business requirements for Sales technology; assist with design, implementation and integration; continuous improvement of solutions over time + Sales and process policy - implement controls and process improvements + Works closely with business systems to improve systems and tools + Review and support escalation of technical issues + Implement, document and enforce processes, infrastructure and tools that enable commercial success, smooth collaboration with adjacent departments and clear visibility into Sales performance + Coordinate with Finance, Marketing, Product and other departments to provide meaningful reporting, metrics and analyses that deliver key business insights + Be proactive, agile and forward thinking on how to create improvements in systems, processes and the organisation to produce better outcomes + Manages the processes and reposting that generate commission and other commercial financial metrics * Sales Strategy and Planning - support the sales forecasting and GTM strategy + Support the annual sales forecasting and budgeting processes, including quota setting and territory alignment + Pricing and proposals - support the sales teams in deal structuring and new business pitches + Lead commission structure design and calculation methodology and administration Serves as a single point of contact, coordinating with Finance, HR and sales leaders to design territories, roles and incentives (including annual plans and SPIFS) to optimize commercial outcomes / achieve company strategy. + Stay up to date on the latest trends, innovations and technologies used to enable sales success + Support Sales Directors in conjunction with Marketing, Product and other key stakeholders in the development of account plans and necessary account-based marketing requirements * Sales Training - support the sales teams in their use of CRM and interpretation of analytics This is a visible and key role in our business, requiring individuals to work in a fast paced and changing environment. The Sales Operations Director will be comfortable operating in a data-driven environment; compiling dashboards, KPIs, analysing trends and supporting the sales teams to be more effective. An understanding of the role an ERP platform can play in the success of this role is critical., * Sales operations experience with in depth knowledge of Salesforce and how to utilise it for simplicity and effectiveness across organisational functions * A practical mindset and approach, coupled with analytical thinking and strategic insights * Comfortable with analysing large data sets to provide valuable and reliable business intelligence * 7+ years experience in Sales Operations * Expert level Salesforce.com administration skills and/or equivalent of other CRM tools * Excellent communication and presentation skills * Immaculate attention to detail * Sense of urgency with a "get it done" attitude * Proactive mindset, strategic focus and business acumen.
