Director of People

Farm Africa drives agricultural and environmental change to improve lives. Our work uses agricultural expertise, management and preservation of ecosystems and the power of business to drive prosperity. We work in eastern Africa helping farmers to grow more, sell more and sell for more. Our ambitious strategy and business plan will see us expand into a new country and increase our project portfolio from GBP5 million in 2015 to GBP20 million in 2020. We are also aiming to become one of the leading technical INGO's working in agriculture, natural resource management and market engagement.

We are looking for a Director of People to join our senior management team and play a key role in helping us to design our organisation to achieve optimal growth. You will also develop a talent strategy that has inclusion at its heart and delivers our ambition to become a leading technical INGO through learning and development, employer brand and best people management practices.

We want our Director of People to be an experienced human resource practitioner with significant knowledge of organisation design and growth, passionate about learning and development, able to articulate strategy, adept at managing change, be highly influential and have the ability to drive culture change and best practice.

You may already have experience of working in an INGO, or you may be working in the commercial sector - if you are looking for a new challenge and the chance to really make a difference then we want to hear from you.
