Full Or Part Time Support Worker (Females ONLY)

A well established large organization is recruiting for female support workers for their supportive living service in Keynsham, Bristol. You will mainly be supporting a lovely lady who has Autism and mild verbal challenging behaviour.

Main Job Role:
- Support her with everyday duties i. cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping etc
- Manage her through their Support Plans (maintain good health and diet)
- Assist her to the day centre she attends
- Accompany her out in the community (appointments, health visits & at the bank)
- Encourage her with future goals she would like to achieve
- May need to prompt her with personal care

Contract / Terms:
- Salary is £7,927 - 16,516 per annum = £8 an hour
- Full or part time contacts available (18 - 37 hours a week)
- Must do at least 1 - 2 sleep in per week which is paid at £29 + top-up = roughly £59 per sleep which comes to £3,068 - £6,136 extra per year
- Mondays to Fridays + alternative weekends
- Shifts can vary but mainly are between 7:30am - 10:30pm

Qualifying candidates:
- Have life, paid, personal or voluntary experience in care (any setting / sector)
- Females only due to the service users needs
- Must be a car driver with your own vehicle

Benefits (pro rota):
- Full training and will also get put through the NVQ qualification
- 25 days holiday + 8 bank holiday = 32 in total
- 6 months sick pay (3 months full pay and 3 months half pay)
