Part Time Support Worker (Must Be A Car Driver)

A well established large national charitable organization is recruiting for support workers in Bradford-On-Avon, Wiltshire. You will be supporting a Gentleman who has learning disabilities, physical disabilities (no challenging behaviour).

Main Job Role:
- He is a trained chef
- Your challenge will be motivating the client as he is difficult to motivate and doesn`t like leaving the house
- Support client with everyday duties i. cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping etc
- Manage him through his Support Plan (maintain good health and diet)
- Assist him with any activities or day centres they attend to
- Accompany him out & about in the community i bank appointments, health visits etc
- Encourage him with future goals they would like to achieve
- No personal care

Contract / Terms:
- Salary including sleeps is £9,765 per annum = £8 an hour and £8 after probation (£6,697)
- May need to do atleast 1 sleep in per week which is paid at £29 + top-up = roughly £59 per sleep which comes to £3,068 extra per year
- Part time contracts available (16 hours a week), Monday to Fridays with alternative weekends
- Shifts can vary but tend to be between 7am - 11pm and sleepins are 11pm - 7am

Qualifying candidates:
- Have life, paid, personal or voluntary experience in care (any setting / sector)
- Must be a car driving with your own car
