Semi Senior Accountant

Well established and respected Chartered Accountants with a 48-year history in Southend are looking for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their friendly team.

They are experts in the field of auditing, accounting and tax services they are also able to utilize their years in business and offer advice on how to improve and develop your business, integrated business strategy, access to corporate finance or specialist tax advice.

• GBP25-30K basic DOE
• 35 hours per week with flexible working Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:30

The Role

If you have at least 3 years Practice experience and are fully AAT qualified and looking for your next step up or want to move away from the rat race in London? Then working for this friendly and inspirational company could be the role for you.

You will be dealing with clients from start-up businesses to SME's from the following industries, Manufacturing, Retail, Construction, Professionals to name but a few.

You be undertaking bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll, corporation tax, personal tax and statutory accounts preparation, bank reconciliations.

Skills Needed

• AAT qualified
• Excellent knowledge of RS Software
• Working knowledge of Sage Line 50, Excel and Xero
• 3 Years Practise experience
• Computer Literate
• Good communication skills
• Tax experience
