Fuel Poverty Energy Advisor
Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2019
Committed to improving our community, we are looking to recruit highly motivated individuals to join our Lemon Aid team of Fuel Poverty Energy Advisors in Ayrshire.
The successful advisor will focus on reducing home energy and fuel poverty amongst domestic energy users throughout the region.
This post is funded by the Scottish Government’s People and Communities Fund and will be based in the Cunninghame Housing Association office in Ardrossan.
A full UK driving license is essential to carry out customer home visits.
- Provide a friendly and professional service to all Scotland wide customers
- Delivering a fuel poverty energy advice service by assisting home energy users
- Undertaking home visits to gather information on energy use and cost
- Advising customers on fuel debt, benefit claims, income maximisation, tariffs/payment options, fuel poverty grants and energy efficiency measures
