Inside Sales Engineer

This large global company are looking for a customer focused Inside Sales Engineer. The ideal candidate, being passionate for continuous improvement, will have previous B2B sales experience within a technical environment.
Working at the clients head office in the Runcorn area, the Inside Sales Engineers play a key role in the pursuit of industry leading customer satisfaction, working collaboratively with customers, both internally and externally to understand their requirements and create value.

Great Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Ensure proper assessment and intake of RFQs resulting in a thorough quotation evaluation
Address technical items needing clarification to validate client expectations
Improve department and personal KPI's (Quotation turnaround days, Quotation Win rate, Delivered margin)
Continuously improve sales proposal processes and your technical knowledge
Provide metric information and update opportunities within the CRM system
Achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction both internally and externally
Generate high quality sales leads
Pursue new sales channels, technologies, approaches and opportunities
Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Educated to A level standard or equivalent with a recognised Engineering or Process Control qualification
Proven sales and commercial experience of proposals preparation experience within the process control / instrumentation industry
A visible passion for sales
Strong organisational and time management skills
High personal drive for continuous improvement and operational excellence
Potential and desire for development
