Technical Services Representative – Aircraft / Aviation
Our client, an award-winning provider to the aviation industry, requires a Technical Services Representative to join their team at Stansted Airport.
JOB PURPOSE:
To support and assist the Technical Services Manager (TSM) with the performance of aircraft maintenance input planning both Line and Base Maintenance, customer co-ordination and work package creation and Technical records preparation.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Support the Maintenance Planning Team with the creation of technical base and line work packages delivered to the engineering team.
- Identification and requisitioning preload spares and services requirements in anticipation of the aircrafts schedule.
- Implementation of the aircraft pre-arrival stage planning.
- Reviewing and identification the approved maintenance data requirements ensuring these are furnished to the shop floor and vendors as and when required.
- Reviewing and implementing the aircraft input task hours in line with the company directive.
- Supporting the certifying staff through the return to service stage of an aircraft maintenance input.
- Liaising with their approved vendors for the arrangement of bought out services.
- Identification and proactively resolving critical path issues which could affect the aircraft input schedule.
- Proficient review and completion of the aircrafts library, e.g Technical Log, Deferral Log etc. during an input and upon release to service.
- Receiving completed work packages and processing them for technical records purposes ensuring they meet all parts, man hour, regulatory compliance and company MOE targets.
- Understanding and embracing department and company improvement strategies.
- Pro-actively identify opportunities to develop departmental and company procedures.
- Undertake projects and any other reasonable tasks as and when required by the Technical Services Manager.
- Comply with Company Health, Quality and Safety procedures.
- Perform any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the Company.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL- A-level / HND / OND or equivalent qualification.
- Aircraft technical experience within a Technical Services and / or Planning Department.
- Knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements.
- Experience of aircraft technical records.
- Experience working with Aircraft Operators and / or Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations.
- Ability to self-motivate and have ownership of assigned projects.
- Excellent ability to work within a dynamic fast paced team.
- Aircraft related qualification either a recognised Modern Apprenticeship, University graduate degree or EASA Part 66 B1/2 license.
- Hands on aircraft maintenance experience within an EASA Part 145 environment.
- Aircraft maintenance input project management skills.
- Experience working within an airworthiness management environment.
